Follow up to yesterday:
Was talking with a neighbor yesterday who knows I don't eat meat, etc. He went on for quite a while about how he's cut way back on red meat, how he keeps hearing how bad red meat is, etc.
I have heard this hundreds of times.
Everything "Vegans" say about why people should "Go Vegan!" feeds the "red meat bad" narrative.
This is why vegan campaigns (and even meat reduction campaigns) correlate with an increase in animals suffering.
Yes, I know this isn't what "Vegans" intend. I know the arguments are "true."*
But it doesn't matter if you are right. All that matters is how much suffering there is.
We have decades of real-world consumption data. We have decades of specific campaign data.
It is, IMO, not just insane but actively immoral to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
* Not always, of course. Many "Vegan" claims are simply and obviously hogwash.
